Sports and Exercise

The common stereotype of the “dumb jock” is a fallacy. Everything that we have learned about sports, movement and brain development indicates that the contrary is true – movement is good for brain development and therefore sports and physical activity are not only good for brain development, but they also help with your child’s academic performance at school. In fact, movement is so beneficial that if you could only do one thing for your cognitive development and nothing else, it should be something physical.

Sports, exercise and physical activity is good for our children – period. It not only helps them stay healthy both physically and mentally, but it is also great for developing them socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
