Summer Holiday Fitness with Mama the Drill Sargeant

G1 is not particularly partial to sports so when the Summer Holidays came, I got a little worried because I knew that all physical activity would go out the door once he no longer had to do any compulsory activities from school. Since we all know how important physical activity is, the drill sargeant kicked in and here’s how we managed to stay active…

We went hiking to visit some old haunts and to try out some new trails:

We went for early morning runs:

When it was hazy, we used the rowing machine:

Down Under, we went park hoping, where he did obstacle courses (this was at Royal Park Nature Playground):

And Ski School at Falls Creek:

And we went to “Wheelie Sunday @ Publika“…

Heh… Now that I’ve actually listed it all out, I guess we weren’t so sedentary these holidays after all. And for someone like G1, I have to say that he was pretty sporting for most of it.
