Science Resources: Kinetic City

Aristotle has been asking for science experiments. While searching online for a virtual science lab, I stumbled across an awesome website with a cool collection of science experiments, games, activities, and challenges:

Kinetic City

Kinetic City is a free web resource created by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and largely funded by the National Science Foundation. They have an optional login which provides members to compare against other members around the world.

Kinetic City has an app for Androids!

What is Kinetic City Active Explorer?

Educators and scientists log in as Leaders and create Quests, which are like treasure hunts for data.

Players log in as Explorers and go on Quests where they collect images, video, audio, notes, and other data. Then, they go on line to see what they’ve collected, study it, and use it to make posters, comics, slide shows, and other fun SmartWork.
