b250x250-banner004Number Memory is one of the activities done in Heguru. This is how it works:

  1. Give the child a piece of paper and a pencil.
  2. Show a 3-digit number for 5 seconds and cover it.
  3. Ask the child to write the number down from memory.
  4. Show a 5-digit number for 5 seconds and cover it.
  5. Ask the child to write the number down from memory.
  6. Show a 7-digit number for 7 seconds and cover it.
  7. Ask the child to write the number down from memory.
  8. Review the answers.

This is an easy activity to practice at home. You can also do numbers with more digits as your child gets better at it. Alternatively, you can also try the number memory game on the App Mimir: the Art of Memory.
