Activities: Lake Gardens Playground

My SIL2 and I took the boys to the playground at Lake Gardens (also known as Taman Tasik Perdana) today. I cannot believe we have never been there before. My SIL2 was in the area recently for work and she figured G1 would enjoy the dinosaur theme to the park and he did, amongst other things. There are two playgrounds – one near the carpark which is quite small and the one we went to which is called Fantasy Planet.

To get to Fantasy Planet, from the open carpark, just follow the footpath past the Herb Garden and keep going until you see another playground.

It’s isn’t quite as large as the playgrounds in KLCC park or Titiwangsa lake garden but I liked it because it has its own identity that separated it from the usual playgrounds. They had dinosaur bushes – okay so triceratops looks a bit weird –

T-Rex and a couple of velociraptors:

Not only does it have dinosaurs to keep G1 happy but it also has Mickey’s mug to keep G2 happy (not that the fact that they were at a playground wouldn’t have done the trick on its own):

I couldn’t get a shot to capture the whole playground but here are a few shots to give you an idea of what they have:

There is also a little fountain with a rainbow near the playground so the boys were able to see a rainbow up close and personal:

Besides the playground, there are a number of other things you can see at the park:
