It's All About Packaging

Some time back I mentioned I was having a bit of trouble trying to get Gavin to drink his Pediasure chocolate flavoured milk.  Well, we’ve since discovered a novel way to get past those fussy little taste buds of his…

This evening, hubby went to Starbucks for a coffee.  He asked Gavin if he wanted a hot chocolate.  Initially, Gavin said, “No.”  When we were on our way back to the car, Gavin changed his mind on that hot chocolate.  Since none of us felt like traipsing back to Starbucks, I told him I would make him a hot chocolate when we got home.

I can’t remember whose idea it was – hubby’s or my SIL2’s – but we decided to put his home-made hot chocolate (read: Pediasure) into hubby’s Starbucks take-out cup.  I gave Gavin the Starbucks cup and he drank from it.

“Do you like your hot choc, Gavin?”

He nods.

Indeed he did, for he drank it all!

It’s amazing what packaging can do…
