After our recent excursions to the Planetarium and Sunway Pyramid, I’ve been keen to start taking Gavin to see more sights around KL. So far, this is the list I’ve come up with:
- National Science Center
- National Museum
- Bird Park
- Butterfly Park
- Hibiscus Garden
- Orchid Garden
- Petronas Science Discovery Center
- Sights and Sounds: KL – Planetarium, KLCC Art Gallery
Then, of course, there’s the Zoo and the Aquarium (both of which Gavin has already been to), and a Rabbit Farm in Bukit Tinggi that I took Gavin to see when he was really young.
I’ve also heard that there is an Immunoland Exhibition on at 1Utama on Wednesday (18 March) which I’m keen to check out.
What other places do you think would be fun to show a toddler?

Hi Yatt-ie! Definitely not too late to comment. Thanks for sharing – I will check it out. Sounds like fun!
Enjoy the kids – they grow so fast! Seems like only yesterday that my son was 10 months old… 🙂

This is a bit off topic but i just noticed how cute and chubby cheeks Gavin has! Does he get strangers who try to touch or pinch his cheek a lot?? My husband and i are actually getting annoyed from these seemingly friendly gestures towards our baby girl.
We are leaving the country for 6 months from next month onwards. I will definitely bring my girl to visit the places you suggested when we come back.

Well, his cheeks have deflated quite a bit now that he’s older, but yes, when he was little, it happened a lot. Hubby and I never liked it either. It still happens but less and less the older he grows.
