Kids Say the Darndest Things: Let’s Play a Game

When Aristotle was younger, he hated taking naps. Well, he still does, but that’s beside the point. To trick him into taking a nap I tried the following on him:

Me: Let’s play a game upstairs.
Aristotle: (starts to follow me up the stairs) What game is it?
Me: It’s a game we play with our eyes closed.
Aristotle: (turns a hundred and eighty degrees and heads back down the stairs muttering to himself) I don’t like this game.
