Kit Kat Galore
My SIL and I went mad in Target picking up all the new variants of Kit Kat available. They had a Strawberry Kit Kat, which I quite liked. That was a surprise in itself since I don’t normally favour fruity variants as I mentioned in the previous post.
The Strawberry Kit Kat was part of a Breast Cancer awareness program in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Then there was a Mint variant which wasn’t too bad since I don’t particularly like Mint chocolates either:
And a Chocolate Overload which was simply the normal Kit Kat but with chocolate wafer biscuits instead. I thought this was also pretty ordinary.
The Kit Kat Temptations were definitely worth noting though. The Caramel Fudge appears to have been around for a while since it didn’t bear the “new” sticker.
The Cafe Latte variant was also new. The Brand Manager for Kit Kat must have been pretty busy to have launched so many new variants at one go…
Out of the two, I preferred the Caramel Fudge. Here’s a shot of the inside:
They also had a Cookie Dough variant which was a little too sweet. Perhaps it wasn’t really a fair comparison since I tried it in the Kit Kat Chunky but unfortunately I couldn’t locate the regular bar.
I don’t think the caramel and cookie dough layers would have been so thick in the finger bar.
Now why can’t they release these variants in Malaysia, instead of the crappy stuff like Lemon Kit Kat?
