Now I’m not really the sort of person that goes nuts over accessories, but I got to say this one’s really got me. The shop, or rather stall, is called “Pet Shop”. Contrary to the title, however, they sell cloth bags - really cute ones like this:

The prices are a bit steep (the one in the picture above cost me RM35), but for the labour and quality, I reckon it’s worth it. They are designed in Japan but made in Vietnam.
True to the Japanese style, they’re not only cute to look at but very cleverly designed and practical to use. For instance, I just bought this bag today (yes, I know, I don’t need it but I couldn’t resist - it was just calling out to me):

What I like about them (aside from the fact that I think they’re really cute) is that they have a lot of different compartments. The problem with a bag with a single compartment is that everything gets swallowed up and it’s really hard to find anything especially when you’ve got a toddler in one arm.
It gets better. The bag that I bought is not just a bum bag:

You can convert it into a shoulder bag by slipping the bum bag straps into two special compartments and attaching the shoulder strap:

How cool is that?
Now that Gavin is carrying most of his own stuff in his own bag, I no longer have to carry such a big bag around. That means this bag is just perfect.
The Pet Shop is located on the 3rd Floor of Midvalley Megamall - TC-16(N). They also have a branch in Genting Highlands, Sunway Pyramid and The Curve (located on Level 1 just outside MPH near the escalators).

Ah… Tote bags are great, too.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures of your bags. At least you’re making them. I can’t even get myself together to finish my scrapbook and start on my soft-toy project for Gavin!
