Yeah, I know, these are more like daily log entries now rather than gratitude posts so I changed the title. With my memory as bad as it has been lately, I figured keeping a log of my days is not such a bad thing. It certainly tests my memory to see if I can remember what happened last week. Quite a challenge at times, too.
February 27 - My MIL and FIL left for Macau in the morning. My SIL and I took off to BV for a spot of grocery shopping. My SIL cooked steak dinner and we went to the Pavillion for an evening stroll. Bought some VCDs for Gavin, while my SIL bought more cookbooks from Times Bookshop. Was tempted to buy more exercise DVDs but decided to try out the ones I had at home first.
February 28 - It was another quiet day at home. Finally got around to making my chicken patties for Gavin which I thought turned out okay. Unfortunately, I didn’t add enough salt and Gavin didn’t find them quite as appealing as I had hoped. Dinner was Chinese at home.
February 29 - My SIL and I had a quiet day at home since we’ve been waking up late just about every day since my MIL and FIL left for their holiday to Macau. Dinner was Steamboat at Puchong - our favourite steamboat place. It was just as good as I remember. It’s just a shame that it’s now so far away and Gavin was quite restless in the car.
March 1 - We went to 1Utama to check out the new VW Golf that the hubby is really keen to get. When I first graduated, the Golf was the dream car I always wanted to get. My MIL and FIL came back from Macau in the evening and we had a simple dinner at home. It sounded like they had a fantastic time. The casino gave them free suite which, from the sounds of things, they enjoyed immensely!
March 2 - I can’t believe it has been so long since we last saw the hubby’s god daugther. She’s such a big girl now and she keeps wanting to play “Mummy” to Gavin. She wants to make his milk, she wants to feed him, she wants to do all sorts of things that Mummies do. We also went to Bangsar Village for a spot of shopping and managed to find the ball that hubby has been wanting to get for Gavin for a long time.
March 3 - Originally planning to head into the office, we ended up staying home to wait for the autogate repair man to fix the autogate. I think it short circuited because of the rain over the past few days. Didn’t do much except head out to Jaya Jusco at the Alpha Angle to pick up some mattresses to lay on the floor because Gavin’s starting to venture too close to the edges of the bed. Since he can climb out of his cot on his own, even that’s not a safe place to put him unminded any more.
