The Household COO

I am happy and grateful:

• for an enjoyable open house party at A and K’s house.  It was fun catching up with the old gang - or rather what’s left of it.
• that luck was on my side when I played Black Jack.  I came away from the table $14 up.  Although the hubby likes to think I’m a closet gambler, I honestly don’t enjoy gambling.  I enjoy playing Black Jack and Mah Jong for the game itself but not the money component and that is the major difference.
• that Gavin managed to fall asleep and take a nap during the party before my arm was about to give way.
• that we made it to Gavin’s godparents house so Gavin could wish his godparents a Happy New Year after.
• that we didn’t go to An Soon with my in laws because they were caught in a major traffic jam all the way back to town.  I’m sure we would all have gone crazy with Gavin fussing in a barely moving car.
