I am happy and grateful:

• that I managed to exchange one of the books I bought for Gavin at Borders which he really likes because it has buttons and it makes sounds whenever he presses the buttons.  Gavin loves all his toys that have buttons - he has this fascination for pressing buttons (the mobile phone, the remote control - just about anything and everything that has buttons on it).
• that Gavin continues to eat his rice cereals today and that yesterday was not a fluke event.
• that I took the time to explore the new wing of The Curve - the Cineleisure Mall.  It looks like a new and improved, scaled-down version of Sungei Wang with small, miscellaneous shops selling all sorts of wares.
• that Gavin loves Sesame Street.  I bought a VCD that was on sale for him at Borders.  Although I wasn’t planning to let him watch cartoons until he was two years old, I’ve discovered lately that this is one of the only ways to get him to sit still in his highchair or bouncer without screaming his head off.  He even consented to let me stuff food in his mouth while he watched the children’s programs on TV.
• that Gavin got in two naps in the afternoon and a shopping trip to The Curve - quite a productive day for the two fo us.
