I am happy and grateful:

• that our maid didn’t give us any trouble when we terminated her contract early.  If I thought hubby was fierce when he scolded our maid for making telephone calls without telling us, the lady at the agency was ten times more so.  Although I am happy that she has left and I feel she brought it upon herself, I still can’t help feeling sorry for her.
• that we decided to use the agency to help us with our maid’s exit permit.  Even though their service to us was pretty lousy so far, I think they did a pretty good job today.
• for a quiet and easy day.
• that Gavin went to sleep early so I managed to get quite a bit of time to myself in the evening.
• that things are going well with my little project.
