The Household COO

I am happy and grateful:

• a really fun evening at PL and J’s house, celebrating J’s birthday; and for Gavin who was really well-behaved despite being out way past his bedtime!
• a lovely day out with the hubby and Gavin having lunch, shopping and checking out sergers (these are a type of sewing machine that finishes hems).
• that we’ve discovered where we can find serger machines that can do cover hems and it seems the Janome Coverpro 1000CP can do what I want at the fraction of the price of the Janome 1200D.
• for wonderful friends who help out with watching out for Gavin so I can eat dinner :op
• that Gavin can sign for milk - he did it a few times tonight and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t some random signing.
