5 Things I have happy and grateful about today:
- Made a new friend at D’s house today and D plans to continue holding this regular Mummies’ meet at her new apartment after they come back from the Christmas holidays. Funny that I was just thinking of starting a Mummies’ meeting group when D invites me to her place (must be the Secret at work again).
- I tried a new food plan for Gavin today and it seems to have done the trick. He ate half of what I prepared - which is a heck of a lot more than he’s been eating over the last couple of days! I’m still planning to take him for a well-baby’s check up at the doctor’s tomorrow just for my own peace of mind that he’s growing well.
- Got loads more ideas about how to handle Gavin’s ambivalence about eating, thanks to some wonderful Mummy friends! We suspect that he’s just exhibiting his new-found independence and wants to feed himself so it’ll just be a matter of finding a win-win situation where he gets to practice feeding himself and Mummy gets to supplement his efforts.
- Gavin is still maintaining his weight and looking rather healthy for a baby who’s turn picky with his food.
- We’re going down to Singapore this weekend! Oh, I know I already said I was happy and grateful about this in the last post, but I’m really, really excited. It’ll be Gavin’s first time meeting C and J and I can hardly wait!
