On Deepavali, the hubby and I went shopping at The Curve with Gavin after taking a quick peek at the show house for our new house again.  Parking at our usual spot in Ikano, we walked past a newsagent on the way to the Vietnamese beef noodle shop that hubby loves.  Still brimming with ideas of what to do with our new house, I spotted some old issues of home deco magazines selling at a discount.  Since I just wanted ideas, I decided to buy a few.  It didn’t matter to me that these magazines were old since my tastes in home deco are pretty similar to my fashion sense - pretty individual.  I know what I like and I don’t care whether it’s in or out as long as it’s in my style.

One of the magazines was called HSH - Home Sweet Home.  While flipping through the magazine, I discovered that they have a website!  A little walking with my fingers and I stumbled across a couple of sites that will really come in handy when it’s renovation time.

HSH has a showcase of interior designs that are great for getting ideas.  There is also a Malaysian multimedia HSH site which equally brilliant home deco ideas for creating that picturesque, coffee-book setting, although I’m not sure if this is coincidentally a different company with the same name.  While, looking for the HSH website, I stumbled across a third website also bearing the HSH acronym which is dedicated to houseplans.  I’m sure this site will come in really handy in the future because the hubby and I are planning to build our dream home.  Now that’s something I’m really looking forward to.
