Welcome to my blog. These are the memoirs of an undomestic goddess who went from a high flying corporate career to stay-at-home-Mum. Join me as I learn about Chinese culture, how to cook and decorate a home. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

The hubby and I were walking around one weekend in Ikano and we popped into Harvey Norman to check out their home furniture.  I saw a couple of ideas for Gavin’s future room that I wanted to keep in mind so I snapped a few pictures.  They are a little blurry because I didn’t want security to throw me out for taking photos…

The first idea is the racing car bed.  Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s a little tacky, but hey, try being a kid for a change and the idea might actually seem pretty cool.

The photo below depicts a room with a soccer theme – not that you can really tell with it being so blurry.  I was thinking not so much of a soccer theme but a golf theme.  So far I haven’t seen one yet.  Perhaps they just don’t think golf and kids go?  Well, I might just have to get creative on my own then.

I really want something fun and interesting.  When I was a kid, I always wanted a cool room.  Now that I have a kid, I think I might just live vicariously through him.
