I’ve just realised I’ve never promoted what a great job my SIL did with our wedding cake until I was looking for a picture of the cake to show off…

My SIL had just completed her studies at Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney, Australia, and graciously agreed to make us our wedding cake. Here’s a picture of her masterpiece:

The privileges of being related to a chef. This is the kind of cake I’ve always wanted for my wedding (not the artificial 5 layer decorative pieces they put on display at the hotels where there is only a pie-shaped section that you can cut for a photo opportunity).
