I went over to the groom’s house on Monday 2 January with H and PL. PL and J brought their gorgeous little girl along and for a moment we all forgot why we were there.

H and my sister in law helped me decorate the room. The final touches were the stickers which, being the mischievous little imps that we were, we stuck them on the TV screen, the speakers, the remote controls, my hubby’s laptop, torchlight, water bottle and his Star Trek Enterprise DVDs… Well, there was an excess of stickers after all and it was such a shame to waste them.

C came up to see how we were doing and he was rather impressed until I nudged his chin to turn his attention to the TV screen, after which, he groaned.
