A Blog in Review

I’ve always wanted to have a beach-front property or even a house near a beach or seaside area like the Outer Banks.  It’s not that I am particularly crazy about the beach, but I guess I just like the idea of being near the sea.

After our recent holiday trip to a beach-side resort, however, I’m guessing I probably won’t end up with my beach holiday home.  The hubby finally confessed how much he detests beach holidays and how he had only agreed to such holidays because he thought I loved the beach. 

So we finally agreed that if we were to get a holiday house, we would get one in the mountains.  My criteria would be a house near a mountain where we can go skiing at the same time.  The hubby just wants a place where the weather is cold.

It’s funny how miscommunications arise.  If it hadn’t been for this holiday trip, I would never have known how miserable the hubby was every time we took a holiday to a beachside resort…
