A Blog in Review

I’ve always been fascinated by time pieces.  I did some research for a job in the watch industry some time back and instantly fell in love with the subject.  Although most of the time pieces I look at are usually wristwatches, I do like the quaintness of pocket watches - it reminds me of gentlemen with top hats, walking sticks and coat-tails.  By default, these days, most people use wristwatches because that is what most of the shops display.

If you want to find new pocket watches, the only place I’ve seen them so far are online.  It still seems a little ostentatious to own a pocket watch, but they definitely come in handy for careers where you constantly have to keep your hands and wrists clear.  A pocket watch would definitely had served me well when I was practicing as a dentist.
