Book Review: Oh the Places You’ll Go… by Dr Seuss

This is another terrific book by Dr Seuss that we love.  It is a book that talks to your child about life – the places he’ll go, the things he will see, the emotions he will experience, and so on.  In a nutshell, it tells your child that he will be great.  It tells him that, in life, there will be ups and downs, and sometimes things will get rough, but no matter how bad they get, he will get through all the challenges that life dishes out to him.

I thought it was another great character building book to add to the book list.

In terms of reading, it is a yellow book, so it is one of the harder books to read.  It is also quite lengthy (like other Dr Seuss books of this level) so it can be difficult to maintain a young child’s attention.  However, like all other Dr Seuss books, it is written in his usual engaging rhyme and the rhythm and pictures should be able to catch some of the younger book enthusiasts.
