The J&J Baby of the Year Competition is back and well, I’m going to enter Gavin again.  Heck, for $15k - or even $200 if you end up as a semi-finalist - why not?

Based on what I observed at 1Utama yesterday, my son seemed quite willing to jump through hoops.  You see, there was a booth (I think it was Hong Leong - well, it was one of the banks anyway) on the Oval concourse - it must have been a credit card drive or something to that effect - and they were giving out balloons and what not.  One of the promoters spotted Gavin and remarked to the other promoters how cute he was.  She then took a balloon and offered it to him if he would kiss her on the cheek. 

I honestly didn’t think he would, but he DID!  My son, who grudgingly gives kisses to his Dad, gave a total stranger a kiss just for a balloon that he promptly discarded seconds after receiving it!

I mean, if he’s willing to kiss a perfect stranger just to get a balloon, I might as well get him to work for a more worthy cause, right?  And what better cause than the “Gavin’s education fund”?
