Charming Gavin

Gavin started to walk recently and now he seems to enjoy walking so much, he wants to do it all the time.  A few nights ago, we took him to KLCC and as Gavin toddled around, one hand holding onto Daddy’s and the other holding mine, several people gasped out loud how adorable he was.

Naturally, being the proud Mummy, I can’t help swelling with pride whenever I hear how cute my son is. However, I have to agree with ST that sometimes I’m not really sure how to react.  Although ST and SM can both take credit for the compliment from a genetic aspect, I’m afraid that doesn’t quite seem to work for me since almost everyone seems to think that Gavin is hubby’s “mini me”.

Ah, well, perhaps I’ll just accept the compliment for having baked him in my oven for 9 months…

Then again, as Gavin grows older and develops more of a personality, I think he deserves most of the credit for turning heads.  Becoming quite the little charmer, he often blows kisses at the waitresses in restaurants and waves at passerbys, and with that little winsome smile of his, who could resist?

Well, definitely not Mummy.  Try as I might to stay mad at him when he’s been rather cheeky, how can I keep my frown on when he throws his little arms around me and smothers me with kisses?
