Gavin went for lunch with his great grandpa at Sri Siam in SS2.  This is a really special photo because great grandpa is 92. 

My grandfather is a man who has always been full of life - fit as a fiddle and very active.  To see what he has become after his heart bypass has been very hard to bear.  He has become rather morose always talking about waiting for death.  To see the light in his eyes again when he’s with Gavin really melts my heart.

My grandfather often complains about being too tired to do things.  Uncertain whether my grandfather would be able to handle holding Gavin for so long, my mother suggested my father take Gavin back.  Surprisingly, my grandfather interjected and said, “No no, I’m okay.”  He was so happy to hold Gavin.  It makes me feel warm to see my great grandfather happy to be alive again.
