Mommy Knows Best

When it comes to parenting advice, just remember that Mommy knows best. You can listen to what all the other parents do or don’t do and use their experiences as a rough guideline but at the end of the day, you are your baby’s mother and you know your baby best. Only you know whether the advice is useful or not useful for your baby so listen to yourself and trust your instincts.

Babies are individuals with different personalities so what may work for one parent may not necessarily work for you.

That said, all the experiences I have learned from being Gavin’s Mom are just that - my own experiences. I share them with the hope that some other Mom out there might find them useful, especially if they have a baby like Gavin, but I know that not everyone is going to agree that what has worked for Gavin and me will work with her and her baby.
The best advice I can offer is: “Don’t ever let anyone make you feel like they know your baby better than you do, especially if you are the primary caregiver to your child.”
